Randy Travis Returns To Hometown For Sign Dedication

On Monday, country superstar Randy Travis went back to his hometown of Marshville, North Carolina to attend a sign dedication ceremony for a new sign that was made in his honor.  The town’s two welcome signs bearing his name were removed in 2014, not long after his 2013 stroke.  The stroke left Travis partially paralyzed and he has difficulty speaking and is wheelchair bound.

The residents of Marshville seemed pleased with the updated sign, which includes the country singer’s name yet again.
