Ashley McBryde has been enlisted by Halestorm’s lead singer Lzzy Hale for a reimagined version of the band’s track, “Terrible Things,” which appears on the group’s 2022 fifth studio album, Back from the Dead.
Miranda Lambert and Leon Bridges are teaming up for the new duet, “If You Were Mine.” Lambert shared a preview of the track, co-written with Pistol Annies bandmate Ashley Monroe and Jesse Frasure, on social media along with the caption: “Two Texans. One song. June 6. Presave at the link in my bio ”
The Country Music Association (CMA) announced that the feature-length documentary film ‘CMA Fest: 50 Years of Fan Fair’ will be released on Hulu this July 5th. Running 75-minutes, “CMA Fest: 50 Years of Fan Fair” highlights the festival’s origin in 1972 as ‘Fan Fair,’ taking place at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. It later moved to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds by 1982, and then to downtown Nashville two decades later.
In honor of the 10-year anniversary of his platinum-certified album, True Believers, Darius Rucker is releasing it on vinyl for the first time. Rucker says in a press release: “This album changed so much for me musically and for our live show. As a kid who worked as a clerk in a record store, there’s a part of me that has always wanted this album to live on vinyl, so this is a great way to commemorate 10 years of ‘Believers’.”
