CMT has announced their newest music specials ahead of the CMT Music Awards, sharing in a press release that it will broadcast new specials featuring Little Big Town, Nickelback and Hardy leading up to the awards show. A post on their socials read: “we’ve got two new specials premiering during #CMTAwards Weekend #CMTStorytellers: @littlebigtown – Friday, April 5 at 8/7c on CMT#CMTcrossroads: @Nickelback & @HardyMusic – Saturday, April 6 at 8/7c on CMT”

Sara Evans revealed she has reconciled with her estranged husband Harry “Jay” Barker, two years after he was arrested for domestic violence. Barker was charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in January 2022, accused of attempting to hit a car Evans was riding in with his own car. He subsequently entered a “best interest” plea to a misdemeanor charge of reckless endangerment and received one year of probation.

Last week there was a video of Jelly Roll before and after mouth reconstruction surgery where he was loopy from all the anesthesia.

Garth Brooks spent a lot of time working on his new bar “Friends in Low Places” that opened in Nashville this month.  But, according to early reviews, some people think it kinda sucks.

Brooks & Dunn announced the 2024 Class of Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum inductees in a live-stream held at the Hall of Fame Rotunda Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The late Toby Keith will be honored in the Modern Era Artist category, along with James Burton in the rotating Recording and/or Touring Musician category and John Anderson in the Veterans Era Artist category.
