Tiffany Haddish Makes History On ‘Saturday Night Live’ As First Black Female Comic To Host

TIffany Haddish made history last night as the first African-American female comedian to host the long-running sketch show Saturday Night Live on Saturday.  The comedienne shined through the opening monologue and throughout the episode in her history-making hosting gig. This was the first time a black female stand-up comic has hosted the show in 43 seasons.

Jennifer Aniston To Make TV Return With Reese Witherspoon

“Friends” star Jennifer Aniston is coming back to television and she’s partnering with Reese Witherspoon. The Apple streaming service said Wednesday the actresses will star in and produce a behind-the-scenes drama series about a TV morning show. The new series marks a TV reunion for its stars: Witherspoon and Aniston played sisters on an episode of “Friends.”

Jeffrey Tambor Under Investigation By Amazon Following Sexual Harassment Allegations

Amazon has opened up an investigation into Transparent star Jeffrey Tambor after sexual harassment allegations were made against him. No other details are available at this time, as the investigation is in its early stages. According to a statement Tambor, a “former disgruntled assistant” claims he “acted in an improper manner toward her.” Reports state that this assistant made those claims in a private Facebook post.

Elton John has achieved one of Harvard University’s highest honors: Humanitarian of the Year. The celebrated musician’s philanthropic efforts to combat HIV and AIDS garnered the Harvard Foundation’s Peter J. “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick is denying claims made by actress Kristina Cohen, who went on Facebook on Monday to state in an explicit post that the actor raped her. Westwick posted a statement Tuesday regarding the accusation. He wrote on his social media pages, “I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.”
