1. “Deadpool“ (R) Theatrical Trailer and the Red Band Version
Ryan Reynolds is Marvel’s fast-talking, foul-mouthed anti-hero Deadpool, whose not-so-secret identity was a mercenary named Wade Wilson.
He volunteers for an experimental program after he’s diagnosed with terminal cancer. The process eventually gives him the same healing powers as Wolverine, but not until after first leaving his face so scarred he can’t bear to return to his girlfriend.
British actor Ed Skrein from the most recent “Transporter” movie is the guy who tortures him to activate his mutant genes, MMA minx Gina Carano is his hired muscle, Morena Baccarin is Wade’s girlfriend, and Stan Lee has a cameo as a strip club DJ.
2. “Zoolander 2“ (PG-13) Trailer
Ben Stiller returns to direct and star alongside Owen Wilson. Their characters, Derek Zoolander and Hansel, are recruited byPenelope Cruz to help Interpol figure out who’s been killing off the world’s most beautiful people.
The celebrities being killed off include Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Lenny Kravitz, Bruce Springsteen, and Madonna. Justin is killed off fairly early, and when his character is murdered, the audiences actually cheered.
The rest of the cast includes Will Ferrell as his nemesis Mugatu, Kristen Wiig as a fashion mogul, and Benedict Cumberbatchas an androgynous model named “All.”
3. “How to Be Single“ (R) Trailer
Dakota Johnson is a hopelessly naïve chick coming out of a long-term relationship. She reenters the dating scene with the help of her rowdy coworker, Rebel Wilson, who teaches her teaches her all about the New York nightlife.
Leslie Mann, Alison Brie, and Damon Wayans Jr. are also in it.
4. “Where to Invade Next“ (R) Trailer
In Michael Moore’s latest documentary, he playfully “invades” nine other countries to see what the U.S. can learn from each of them. It includes free college for everyone in Slovenia, shorter school days in Finland, nutritional school meals in France, shorter prison sentences in Norway, 30 days of paid vacation in Italy, and free female health care in Tunisia.
