(Wednesday, March 10th) Sparks Heritage Museum and the Sons & Daughters of Erin are asking elementary school kids to create “Shamrocks for Seniors”. The cards should be dropped at the museum.  Info: 355-1144

(Thru March 15th) Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is accepting donations of Easter Baskets for needy kids.  Info: www.ccsnn.org

(thru March 30th) The Washoe County Sheriff’s, all volunteer, Search & Recue HASTY team are celebrating 50 years with commemorative T-Shirts.  Info: click here

(Thru spring 2021) The Washoe County School District is offering free meals to all students, courtesy of the USDA at various pick-up locations.  Sign-up and Info: click here  

(TFN) Northern Nevada’s Children’s Cabinet serves families in Reno, Carson City and Elko. They are in need of donations.  Info: www.childrenscabinet.org

(TFN) Care’s Housing Assistance Program offers help to pay rent during the pandemic.  If approved, money is sent directly to the landlord. Info: www.housing.nv.gov

(TFN) The Food Bank of Northern Nevada needs help serving the local community.  You can now donate via text message: text “FEED NV” and a donation amount to 50155

(TFN) Washoe Country REMSA has set up a “Community Triage Line”.  It has information about getting access to testing.  24-7 you can call 328-2427.

(TFN) If you have recovered from Covid 19 researchers at Renown Health and the UNR School of Medicine would like to talk to you.  Also, they can assist you if you want to donate plasma.  Info:  982-3646 or go to  covidplasmascreening@renown.org
