Are you one of those psychos who’s willing to hit up MULTIPLE fast food places, back-to-back, to appease the people in your car? For children, it MIGHT be worth picking your battles, for other adults, it’s, a lot.
A recent poll asked people to rank their current interest in going to various fast food joints. Obviously, it’s how much they LIKE the restaurant’s menu items, but it sounds like it also includes prices, value, and overall experience.
Here’s the Top 10:
1. McDonald’s
2. Chick-fil-A
3. Wendy’s
4. Burger King
5. Taco Bell
6. Subway
7. KFC
8. Domino’s
9. Dairy Queen
10. Arby’s.
They also broke it down by gender. Both ranked McDonald’s #1. But men had Burger King up a couple spots at #2. Men also had Popeyes in their Top 10, and had higher opinions of KFC, Domino’s, and Arby’s.
Women were down on Burger King, Domino’s, and KFC, but they had Dairy Queen up at #7, while Dairy Queen didn’t make the Top 10 for the guys. (Also: In general, women showed less interest in most of the options.)
When broken down by AGE: Everyone had McDonald’s in the top spot, except Boomers, who had Wendy’s #1. Boomers and Gen X’ers were higher on Jersey Mike’s, which didn’t make the Top 10 for the younger generations.
Gen Z’ers and Millennials had Pizza Hut in the Top 10 instead, although they BOTH still had Domino’s ranked even higher.
And the younger generations had more interest in Taco Bell than older folks. It was #2 for Millennials, #3 for Gen Z’ers, #5 for Gen X’ers, and #6 for Boomers.
