Starbucks’ Most Expensive Order Will Cost $45, and Probably Kill You

Most of us are NOT looking to spend an arm and a leg for coffee.  But if you want the most EXPENSIVE morning possible, here’s a pricey Starbucks order, which may also come with a hospital bill.

Someone figured out that the most expensive single beverage you can order on the Starbucks app is $45.  It’s not a normal drink, obviously, you need to make a lot of modifications.

Here’s how you order it:  It’s a “Venti Matcha Crème Frappuccino,” with an additional, “12 spots of espresso, plus 12 affogato-style shots.”

The base drink is $6.25.  The 12 espresso shots add $15, the 12 affogato-style shots bump it up another $15, and the other add-ons to get there are:

Mocha and dark caramel sauces:  $1.60.

Caramel drizzle:  60 cents.

Frappuccino chips and one pump of chai:  $1.60.

Caramel crunch topping:  50 cents.

Vanilla bean and chocolate malt powder, 4 scoops each:  $1.

And just for the heck of it, whipped cream:  Which is free, thank goodness.

That totals $41.55, and with tax that can bump it to $45.  The prices may be slightly different based on the location.

The person who maxed this out says that they were just doing it as a stunt, and they DIDN’T actually try it.  Which is a big missed opportunity, although I guess it’s probably smart if you value your health.  (Would YOU drink it?)
