Five Random Facts for Tuesday

Here are some random facts for you.

1.  It’s possible that Prince was one of the first kids to play “Oregon Trail”.  It was created for an eighth grade teacher in Minneapolis in the fall of 1971, and at that time, Prince was an eighth grade student at that school.

2.  40% of cats are left-handed, and another 10% are ambidextrous.

3.  There’s a German word that literally means “a face in need of a slap.”  It’s backpfeifengesicht.  (It’s pronounced BACK-pfei-fen-ge-zischt.)

4.  It’s possible to win the U.S. presidential election with just 22% of the popular vote.  To have enough electoral votes to win, you’d have to win the 39 smallest states and Washington D.C.

5.  A group of parrots is called a pandemonium.
