Store-bought gravy will NEVER compare to the homemade version. We know this. (Especially cans of Amazon Grocery Turkey Gravy.)
Yet, every Thanksgiving, some people force themselves to tolerate gravy from cans, jars, and cartons, because it saves them the hassle of making a fresh batch. And now there’s a new option: SQUEEZABLE GRAVY.
Heinz has launched its first-ever squeezable gravy bottle, featuring its “Homestyle Turkey Gravy.” It’s called “Leftover Gravy,” and it looks like a bottle of stadium mustard or something.
They say it’s specifically for SANDWICHES. It was inspired by the “Friends” episode where someone steals Ross’ “Moist Maker” sandwich, which was made from Thanksgiving leftovers, with the SECRET being a gravy-soaked slice of bread in the middle.
It’s available exclusively on Walmart.com. Or at least it WAS.
To get one, you needed to buy a JAR version for $1.88, and then they’d include a limited-edition “Heinz Leftover Gravy Kit,” with the squeezable version and a recipe card. Last we checked, it was already sold out.
(It’s SEEMS like they’ll be restocking it, at least through this coming Thanksgiving season, but that’s unclear. They say it’s a “while supplies last” thing, but you could check back if you’re interested.)
(Here’s the “Friends” clip. The portion describing the “Moist Maker” is at the 2:30 mark. And here’s someone’s “Moist Maker” recipe on TikTok.)
@everything_delish Ross was onto something with this moist maker sandwich, because it’s DELISH! #moistmakersandwich #leftovers #sandwich #friends #recipe #food
