Michael Ray’s latest single “Whiskey And Rain” has hit No. 1 on country radio, and the country singer took to Instagram to thank everyone who helped support the single.  Ray captioned the clip: “WHISKEY AND RAIN IS THE NUMBER ONE SONG IN COUNTRY MUSIC!!!! Y’all I gotta be real. It’s been an emotional one today. Back when we were recording this song I would think about all the things I always loved about @garyallanmusic and the way his music spoke to me and my life growing up in Eustis. Jason Isbell announced he will be cancelling some upcoming shows after he tested positive for COVID-19.

Miranda Lambert’s documentary about the making of “The Marfa Tapes” will premiere on Paramount+ Jan. 20.  “The Marfa Tapes” follows the making of Lambert’s collaboration with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall as they write their Grammy-nominated album.  Following the trio for 5 days, the documentary gives viewers an inside look at the making of the 15-song collection and also includes candid interviews with Lambert, Randall and Ingram.

Singer Amy Grant’s daughter — who inspired her smash hit “Baby, Baby” — has made Grant a new grandma! Grant said her new granddaughter will call her “Ama.”

Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town are joining together this spring for the 2022 Bandwagon Tour.  The 15-date trek will kick off on May 6 in Houston, Texas, making stops in Tampa, West Palm Beach, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Wantagh, NY before wrapping on June 11 in Camden, N.J.
