Randy Houser Returns For The First Time In 2 Years With New Single, “What Whiskey Does”

It’s been two years since country artist Randy Houser released new music, but now the Mississippi native will return to the airwaves on July 23 with a new single, “What Whiskey Does.” The tune is expected to be the lead single from Randy’s as-of-yet-announced upcoming album, the follow-up to 2016’s Fired UpOver the course of his decade-plus career, Randy has scored a handful of No. 1 songs, including “How Country Feels,” “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” and “We Went.” Listen to “What Whiskey Does” in the link below.

Florida Georgia Line Debuts Video For Their New Single “Simple”

Country duo Florida Georgia Line released the official music video for their song “Simple.” The clip shares an old-time love story and begins with a grandfather telling his two grandsons a story about their grandmother. This week, FGL scored a chart first, topping the Country Airplay, Country Digital Song Sales and Country Streaming Songs with a different track residing in the penthouse on each chart. Final ‘Nashville’ Soundtrack To Be Released In July

The final few episodes of CMT’s hit series Nashville are coming up, and the Series Finale will be July 26.  Now it’s been announced that the final soundtrack to the popular show, called The Music of Nashville, Season 6 Volume 2, will be released worldwide on July 27 and features 16 new tracks that reflect various paths of the series’ characters. Several cast members appear as both vocalists and songwriters, including Charles Esten, Hayden Panettiere, Jonathan Jackson, Claire Bowen, Chris Carmack, and Sam Palladio. Notable country writers on the project include Maren Morris and Ashley Monroe. Since Nashville debuted in 2012, Big Machine Records has released 12 soundtracks celebrating the show. Hear Luke Combs’ New Single ‘She Got the Best of Me’

Luke Combs’s first three singles, “Hurricane,” When It Rains it Pours,” and “One Number Away,” all topped the U.S. Country Airplay charts. Now for his latest single, Combs is releasing an older song written before he moved to Nashville, called “She Got the Best of Me.” The song follows a man who turns to music in the wake of a break up. Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves Lead 2018 Farm Aid Lineup

For the first time in it’s history, Farm Aid will be heading to Connecticut for its 2018 event. Along with Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews, the festival will host a lineup of the biggest names in country music. Chris Stapleton will make a first-time appearance, joining Kacey Musgraves, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Particle Kid. The 33rd annual installment of the event will be held at Xfinity theater in Hartford on Sept. 22.  Farm Aid’s mission each year is to help family farmers thrive throughout the country. Since its inception in 1985, Farm Aid has raised more than $50 million for family farmers. Tickets for Farm Aid 2018 will go on sale Friday, June 29 at 10 AM ET through Live Nation.
