CMT announced that the first set of co-hosts for the 2020 CMT Music Awards on Oct. 21st will be Kane Brown and actress Sarah Hyland, Two additional hosts will be announced soon.
Runaway June — comprised of Natalie Stovall, Naomi Cooke and Jennifer Wayne—released a new video for their current single, “We Were Rich.” The trio filmed the new clip in Natalie’s hometown of Columbia, Tenn., about 45 miles south of Nashville.
After being pulled as this weekend’s musical guest on Saturday Night Live, Morgan Wallen posted in a video posted to social media that he is ‘taking a break from music’ and is going to be stepping away from the spotlight for a bit to ‘work on me.’ Wallen added, “I think I have some growing up to do.” Wallen wrote on Instagram: “You know, I think I’ve lost myself a little bit. I’ve tried to find joy in the wrong places, and, I don’t know, it’s left me with less joy. So I’m going to go try to work on that. I’m gonna take a step back from the spotlight for a little while and go work on myself.”
Travis Denning, Caylee Hammack, Hardy, Ingrid Andress, Mickey Guyton and Riley Green and were just announced as the second round of performers for the 2020 CMT Music Awards on Oct. 21. Previously announced performers include Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan and Maren Morris.
