Luke Bryan’s 2019 “Crash My Playa” country music party, which takes over Riviera Maya, Mexico, in January, keeps getting bigger with more artists added. Luke Combs will headline one night of the soiree, while Jake Owen and Chris Janson have also been selected to perform during the four-day event.
The Grand Ole Opry is debuting a new campaign for 2019, called “Opry NextStage.” Opry NextStage will features year-long collaborations with rising country artists Tegan Marie, Riley Green, Tenille Townes and Travis Denning. These collaborations will include live performances, strategic marketing support and short-form documentaries.
Singer Margo Price revealed she is pregnant, and she and husband Jeremy Ivey are expecting their third child in May. Price made the announcement during her show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 20, where she opened for Jack White. “I’ve been hiding something behind my guitar,” Margo said from the stage. “We’re expecting a baby this May.”
Kelsea Ballerini will be the headliners for the 2019 edition of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve event on the West Coast. Ballerini will be joined by a number of other artists, including The Chainsmokers, Foster the People, Dua Lipa, Macklemore, Skylar Grey, Ella Mai and Charlie Puth.
Jake Owen and his girlfriend, Erica Hartlein, are expecting their first child together The couple revealed the big news on ABC’s I’m Coming Home special. Owen told his family during the special, which saw his return to his hometown of Vero Beach, Florida, “This’ll throw you guys for a loop. [We] haven’t told anyone, but Erica and I will be having a little addition to our Owen family.” Owen confirmed his relationship with Hartlein in April 2017. He is also dad to 6-year-old daughter Olive Pearl, whom he shares with ex-wife Lacey Buchanan. The singer often posts pictures and videos of his daughter on Instagram.
