The employees at a Walmart in Ludington, Michigan gave this couple an EXTREMELY generous offer, and the couple went to jail because they were too stupid to take it.
26-year-old Samantha Christiansen of Muskegon, Michigan and her 24-year-old boyfriend Derek Gomez went to Walmart earlier this week, grabbed some cans of Silly String off the shelves, and started spraying it on each other. And they took their Silly String fight right through several aisles, and went through several cans.
They made a pretty big mess too, but the employees told them they’d clean it up and wouldn’t call the cops, as long as Samantha and Derek paid for the Silly String they’d used. It costs about $3 a can.
And, they wouldn’t do it. So the staff DID call the cops, and Samantha and Derek were arrested for retail fraud. They’re both looking at up to 93 days in jail or a $500 fine.
