Police in Granite Shoals, Texas posted a fake warning on Facebook last Tuesday, which said batches of heroin and meth that were being sold in the area had tested positive for EBOLA. Which we’re assuming isn’t even possible. You usually have to come in contact with someone who has Ebola to catch it.
But they said anyone who recently bought some drugs should bring it to the station, so they could scan it for the virus. And somehow that actually WORKED. A 29-year-old woman named Chasity Hopson showed up on Thursday with a bag of meth she wanted them to test.
She’s facing charges for possession of a controlled substance.
(Here’s her mugshot.)
