Stupid Criminal: A Man’s 98th Arrest Involved a Custom Bong on His Car’s Dash

There’s a man in Washington state, who has just been arrested for the 98TH TIME.  (Do you get some sort of plaque for your 100th?)

This time, he led officers on a high-speed chase, after stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from several stores in the past week.

The cops called off the chase due to the “extremely reckless behavior of the driver”, but tracked him down a little while later, and apprehended him.

The police found a bunch of stolen merchandise and drugs while searching his truck.  And get this: They also saw “a custom bong device built into the dash, so he could comfortably smoke drugs while driving.”   (Sadly, there’s no photo of that.  I’m curious if it was a “hands-free” contraption.)

The driver is a four-time convicted felon.  He has 27 misdemeanor convictions, across those 97 prior arrests.  Now he’s facing charges of DUI, eluding police, and possession of narcotics.

(Here’s the dash-cam footage.)
