Brett Young Earns Fourth Consecutive No.1 With ‘Mercy’

Brett Young has a lot to celebrate — his most recent single has become his fourth No.1 song. Topping the Billboard Country Airplay chart, “Mercy” is Young’s fourth consecutive time hitting the peak position. “We knew pretty early that ‘Mercy’ had to be a single because of the way the fans respond when I played it live,” said Young in a press release. “I wrote this song from a really vulnerable and honest place, so to see it go No. 1 is really special.”  “Mercy” is the fourth single from Young’s debut record, following the No.1 hits “Sleep Without You,” “In Case You Didn’t Know” and “Like I Loved You.”
