The Pistol Annies’ trio member Angaleena Presley said that the Annies have finished recording their third studio album. “We just finished our third record. Two weeks ago [as of July 23],” Presley explains. “So we don’t really have a release date, per se, yet, but the record is there.” On July 18, the trio — comprised of Presley, Miranda Lambert and Ashley Monroe — shared an image of themselves in the recording studio. The group has not yet revealed the album’s title or further details of the project. The Pistol Annies have not shared new music since the 2013 release of their sophomore album, Annie Up. In 2017, Lambert began hinting at the possibility of new music to come the following year, and Presley and Monroe made surprise appearances at two of Lambert’s Livin’ Like Hippies Tour stops.

Jason Aldean has announced his third annual Concert for the Kids, with the charity event set to take place in the singer’s hometown of Macon, Georgia. The concert will be held at the Macon Coliseum on Thursday, September 6, and will include performances from Aldean and opener Lauren Alaina. The performance will benefit the city’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, which is the area’s sole dedicated pediatric facility.  The past two events have helped raise over $1.2 million. Tickets for the show will be available July 27 at 10 a.m. CT on jasonaldean.com. Aldean is currently on his High Noon Neon Tour with Alaina and Luke Combs. 

Lauren Alaina announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Alex Hopkins on July 21. Lauren posted a pic on her Instagram page, showing off her engagement ring as she kissed her beau. She captioned the photo: “Being yours forever has a nice “RING” to it. #HoppilyEverHopkins @_alex_hopkins WE ARE ENGAGED. EEEK.  Lauren, 23, and Adam, 23, have been dating since 2012. 2018 has been an exciting year for Lauren. She won the ACM Award for New Female Vocalist of the Year in April, and Lauren’s recent single, “Doin’ Fine,” reached No. 27 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, marking the third time she’s cracked the Top 30 as a solo artist. Alaina is currently on Jason Aldean’s High Noon Neon Tour, which kicked off on May 10 and runs through Sept. 29.

Lauren Alaina among other country singers will perform at the Academy of Country Music this August. Lauren along with Jon Pardi will be hosting the event as well.

The Willie Nelson fire won’t cool down as the country singer plans to release an Album this fall. The name of it is called “My Way” and it is a tribute to Frank Sinatra.
